Our Deloitte Services & Investments (DSI) organization is a service provider to the business units, enabling the work that they do. Our expertise covers internal services IT, Finance, Human Resources, Mobility and Facilities.

For our DSI Facility department at our headquarters in Zaventem we are looking for motivated and ambitious Facility Lead.

Your function:

The Facility Lead is responsible for
  • People Management - Leading the Facility team (10-25p) to ensure intern quality standards are met with a highly engaged and motivated team
  • Strategy – Leading the strategic design and implementation of the Deloitte workplace strategy taking into account trends, mobility aspects, new ways of working … and the strategic business and sustainability objectives
  • Operations – Offering facilities-related services and processes that ensure high quality and safety standards and a seamless Deloitte experience at our headquarters and our 13 regional offices
  • Analytics – Further develop Facility-related KPI’s in order to provide meaningful insights to Senior Management on progress made and future opportunities
  • Compliance, Safety and Business continuity – Ensuring all legal and technical obligations and requirements are met
Key success factors are

  • Finding the right balance between customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness
Your role:
  • You design of the strategic vision in regard to our workplace management and present towards national management;
  • You liaise with all business stakeholders and build a trust relationship by understanding the needs and by developing solutions keeping in mind the overall strategy;
  • Leading the facility managers, you are the end responsible for the day-to-day facility management of all our buildings, you ensure high quality & safety standards by planning ahead;
  • You are responsible for the overall facility budget and you monitor/report deviations to the management;
  • You ensure strong vendor management processes and you are familiar with tendering, contract negotiation, including the monitoring of service contracts;
  • You develop and present business cases to the management and you manage your projects end-to-end including planning, allocation and supervision of staff and resources, budget monitoring, status reporting;
  • You invest in your own knowledge by staying informed about the functional and technical evolutions, trends on the market and by making sure that we are one-step ahead;
  • You report to the Operations Director who is reporting to the COO.
Skills :
  • You have + 8 years of relevant experience in operational management, project management and people management with good understanding or strong interest of/for facility management in general;
  • A good understanding of the real estate market is a plus;
  • You have a proven successful experience in people management and you motivate your team to ensure that they can grow and develop their strengths;
  • By using your leaderships skills you find the balance in giving constructive feedback and recognizing them, this while being aware of your self-development, in an introspective way;
  • You have strong project management skills and you own the methodologies;
  • You have strong financial reflexes;
  • You demonstrate a proactive mindset, you develop solutions to ensure efficiency, to improve current working methods, to solve problems and to avoid recurring issues;
  • You have an excellent command of Dutch, English and French, both written and spoken;
  • You have excellent listening & communication skills, being able to communicate clearly, persuade and influence;
  • You are able to work in a structured way and you are well organized;
  • Your reliability, flexibility, co-operation and respect for others make sure you can build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
